JAMBO WILMINGTON!

So, I'm sitting in Port City Java on the corner of Front and Grace St. in Wilmington. I just got done with a 9 am class about an hour ago, and I walked to the student union to dwell on thoughts. They don't have the best coffee in there. I was talking to Chloe on Facebook chat and told her to HOLD UP!!!! I needed some java.

Here's a little backup story since the last time I updated. I got back from Africa, and I loved every minute of it. I felt like my life had meaning there; like I was making a difference. They spoke such broken english....but you can check out the pictures on my facebook....just search my name. There will be a movie soon!!!

After I got back from that, it was time to transition to a new home....well, technically back home. I moved away from wilmington in 2004, and NOW I'M BACK. Jeremy, my good friend who plays music with me, also moved down here. We played a show here for the NC Azalea Festival back in April and he fell in love with it. We both worked at Muddy Waters in Elizabeth City, and now he has moved here to be a manager at a corporate Port City Java.

We walked into the pcj I am currently sitting at on tuesday night. I had picked him up to go to a college/twenty-somethings service at Port City Community Church called Overflow. It was a GREAT experience! Nevertheless, we walked in here, and I had dropped an application off 2 days prior. So I looked at the guy behind the counter and asked him..."Have you guys hired someone yet?" Long story short, they hadn't. I told him I was their guy. The next day I had an interview with the owner, and now today I sit here an employed man again!!! I GOT THE JOB!!!! Once again working in coffee, this being my 3rd shop. I'm very excited. Life is going to good for me right now....other than the fact that I am missing a huge part of me...

Every day, I look everywhere and see nothing but Chloe. She is my inspiration and my light. Sure...I could probably live without her....although I'd rather not.....but living with her would be a better life a thousand million times over!!! I can't imagine a life where I don't talk to her in the morning and tell her goodnight, every night. She is it. I love my girl, and I will be with her soon.

Next weekend, for labor day, I get to go see her at Appalachian State University! We are going to blowing rock, and we get to see an artist that inspires the both of us.....BRANDON HEATH!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SO SO SO SO EXCITED!!! Then we get to have a picnic lunch on labor day before I leave.....:( BUT I WILL BE WITH HER SOON!!!!!

So, tomorrow, Saturday August 29, 2009, I will start my first day of training at PCJ. WHO'S STOKED!?

Peace
