Maybe I'm out of my mind, But.....

Tonight, on February 13/14, I've been doing some thinking. Lately I've been intoxicated with "love". For those of you out there who have been truly in love, I know you can understand. Thinking about valentine's day poses a real problem for us "singles" out there. We see a lot of our friends with people they have been with for a month, 6 months, a year, heck, even married, and we think to ourselves, "What is WRONG with me!?" The fact is, there is nothing wrong with you, you just have to wait.

Take it from someone who has been in un-relentless love before. It's absolutely amazing, there is not a greater feeling than being in true love, I know that for a fact. And I also know that seeing your close friends in that kind of love sometimes hurts, but BE A GOOD SPORT. Their love is different than yours at the moment, and they are happy, so be happy for them!! There is a divine timing for your love to flourish and pour over into someone else's life. I know that for a fact. Have I found that true love? Yeah, once upon a time. That's how I know this.

If you don't have a "Valentine", then HEED MY WORDS, Love everyone you care about, find yourself a good vinyl and a record player (for those of you limited to CDs, go ahead and get Cat Power's 'Moon Pix' and Bon Iver's 'For Emma, Forever Ago').

Those records may or may not change your lives, but it did change mine.

But those of you who DO have valentines, that you love so, so deeply, make sure they know, not by what you buy them, but by what you SHOW to them. Show them you love them! Not how nice of jewelry you buy, or where you take them to eat. Show them by your love, just like Jesus showed to us. Have a date with Jesus on Valentines Day, I don't think He'll stand you up.
